    Visual Identity

This project proposes a fictive visual identity for Co(te)lette (2007), a performance by Ann Van den Broek that questions the representation of the female body in society. The graphic approach reimagines the body as a “piece of meat,” echoing butcher shop displays, in order to highlight the objectification and commodification of femininity.

The visuals were paired with contradictory yet compliant quotes, designed to create tension and ambivalence. By confronting attraction with discomfort, the identity invites reflection on the complexity of feminist discourse and the contradictory perceptions surrounding desire and objectification.

    In collaboration with Stavros Gilliamidis.
