Ultimate Santiago de Guide AlcoGuide, 2023

    Editorial Design

Santiago de Chile is renowned for its vibrant cuisine and rich cultural heritage. However, the primitive mindset of some tourists looking only to travel and drink to excess often overshadows the city’s diverse offering. In response to this, my satirical editorial project presents a unique tourist alco guide that navigates the landscape of Chilean nightlife. From checking into your hotel to hangover heading home, this editorial offers detailed information on local traditions and behaviors, as well as a collection of party venues. Presenting itself as the ideal tool for those wishing to immerse themselves in the local party scene, this guide offers an unconventional approach to Santiago’s nightlife.

The guide is conceived to be read from both sides: left to right, and then—once turned over—right to left, depending on the stage of your trip. This double reading structure mirrors the cyclical rhythm of the journey, from anticipation and indulgence to exhaustion and return, offering a playful reflection on the repetitive nature of nightlife experiences.
